BTS to hold “offline, online” concert this October

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many concerts around the world have been canceled. With this, one of the world’s biggest groups, BTS announced that they will be holding an “offline, online” concert this October.

In a corporate briefing held on August 13, Big Hit Entertainment shared their upcoming plans for this year. During this briefing, Big Hit Entertainment announced that the K-Pop group will be holding a concert titled “BTS Map of the Soul ON:E”.

The event is a two-day concert that will be held on October 10 and 11 as a simultaneous online streaming and offline performance event. The offline performance will have will only have limited seating to observe social distancing measures. According to an announcement by Big Hit Entertainment, this is “in accordance with government-mandated concert seat distancing measures for COVID-19 prevention.”
