Art in the Woods 2026 is a two-day art exhibition taking place on July 4–5, 2026, at Timmy in the Woods in Antipolo City, Rizal. This year’s edition, themed “Where Folktales Wander,” brings contemporary art beyond the conventional white-cube gallery and into a natural woodland setting, inviting visitors to experience artworks where nature, storytelling, and imagination come together.
The event transforms its forest venue into an immersive art trail featuring works by 36 emerging and established Filipino artists nestled among trees, gardens, pathways, and intimate gathering spaces. Instead of viewing pieces on gallery walls, visitors will discover artworks woven into the landscape, creating a unique dialogue between art and nature.
Inspired by childhood folklore, myths, and imagined encounters, this year’s theme encourages both artists and audiences to revisit the wonder, mystery, and curiosity of the stories that shaped them. Beyond the visual art, the exhibition also offers a multi-sensory experience, with specially curated cocktails and culinary offerings that complement the folkloric atmosphere.
Participating artists include Angelica Regala, Arvie Dedicatoria, Cicero, Dale Francisco, Eron, Erika Mayo, Erjo, Gab Mayol, Gelo Yellow, Gelo Zarsuelo, Herchell Gil, Jianu, JP Lopez, KAKA, KB, Kelvin Madrid, Kenneth Villegas, Kompoztika, Lois, Mariel Empit, Mark Hernandez, Mark Tisado, Meemoo, Neil Suto, Pattpiha, Raki, Relly Coquia, Ron Mariñas, Rum Corvera, Summer De Guia, Thea Bathan, Timmy Woods, Two Front Teeth, Tyang Karyel, YÙ, and Zuh Dai.
Founded and curated by collector Timmy Woods, the exhibition aims to create accessible and memorable encounters with contemporary art outside traditional gallery spaces. It brings together artists, collectors, creatives, and the wider community in a setting that celebrates both artistic expression and the natural beauty of Antipolo.
