Korean girl group BLACKPINK is coming back to Manila this June 6 at the SM Samsung Hall in BGC for a special event organized by an e-commerce website. This will mark the second time the girls will perform in the Philippines. The first was during their 2019 World Tour titled “BLACKPINK In Your Area Manila,” held last February 2 at the Mall of Asia Arena.

BLACKPINK hails from one of the big three entertainment companies in Korea, YG Entertainment, which is also the home of top groups such as BIG BANG and 2NE1. BLACKPINK consists of four members namely Jennie, Jisoo, Rose, and Lisa. The girls are known for their hit songs “Kill This Love,” “DDU DU DDU DU,” “Boombayah,” “As If It’s Your Last,” “Playing With Fire,” “Stay,” and “Whistle.” They also recorded a track featuring Dua Lipa titled “Kiss and Make Up.”
