Original Pinoy Music band Ben&Ben — best known for hits like Kathang Isip and Maybe The Night — got to meet one of their music idols last Monday. They were able to score a meeting with international musician John Mayer on the Hong Kong stop of his world tour. Mayer, unfortunately, did not have a Manila show but that wasn’t enough to stop this folk-pop band from seeing him.

Ben&Ben posted a group photo with John Mayer on their official Facebook page, along with a snap of one of his guitar picks. The best part? They write in their caption that they were able to give John Mayer their (soon-to-be-released) album!

Their debut album, Limasawa Street, is set to be released in May. I’m not sure if I’m more jealous that they got to meet John Mayer, or that John Mayer got his hands on an album before any of us! In any case, I (and many other fans) just hope he truly gives the album a listen so he can properly appreciate them.
