Visiting a museum in another country or city is a good way of digging deeper into the culture of that place. Bencab Museum is a good embodiment of the Cordilleran spirit as it houses several collections of local artists that aim to preserve the beauty and authenticity of the province.
At the ground level of Bencab Museum, there’s Café Sabel and a garden for a quick rest after touring the 3-story building. Right across it lies a breathtaking view of mountains and forests for some magnificent scenery.
Grand Sierra Pines Museum
43 N Outlook Dr, Brgy. Gibrattar, Baguio, 2600 Benguet

Grand Sierra Pines is a well-known hotel in Baguio, but did you know that they also host galleries and exhibits? We visited the establishment when the Adkos Gallery was up for display. Its themes were “A National Artists Masterpiece Collection” and “Jose Rizal Exhibit” – a curation of contemporary pieces by the hotel owner to commemorate the country’s wonderful history. To visit Adkos, ask assistance from the front desk.
There are also portraits outside of the gallery that highlight different photographs of various tales and stories.
Where to Eat
Ozark Diner + BnB
2 Bear’s Trail, Corner Bareng Dr, Baguio
Store Hours: 10AM – 9PM Daily
Nothing screams retro more than an American diner. Get those 50s OOTDs ready, buy a milkshake, and strike a pose!
More than the aesthetics of the place, Ozark Diner + BnB serves authentic food from the American South, which is unique to Baguio! We tried their breakfast selections and were blown away by their deep flavors and exquisite presentations.
As if that’s not enough, they come in massive serving sizes to boot!
Potenciana de Galleria
888 Tip-Top, Ambuclao Road, Benguet

A sister restaurant of Arca’s Yard, this restaurant is a tribute to the owner’s mother. Like maternal love, you’ll feel right at home at this beautiful place while eating hearty up-class meals.
There are also several paintings—a combination of heirloom pieces and purchases around the globe-in this two-story restaurant with the aim to promote their passion for culture and arts. They also have an erotica gallery in the basement for adults.
Potenciana de Galleria is also open for functions and events.
