Art Fair Philippines 2026: Your Ultimate Guide to the 13th Edition at Circuit Makati

Art Fair Philippines 2026 officially opens its doors today, transforming six floors of the Circuit Corporate Center One into a multi-level sanctuary for contemporary and modern art. Now in its 13th edition, the fair has firmly established Manila as a premier destination in the global art market, featuring a powerhouse lineup of galleries from the Philippines and across the globe, including France, Japan, Spain, and Southeast Asia.

Whether you are a seasoned collector or a curious first-timer, this year’s fair offers a deep dive into the evolution of Filipino creativity—from the legends who paved the way to the digital pioneers of tomorrow.

At the heart of the fair is ArtFairPH/Projects, a curated space where some of the most influential names in Philippine art showcase large-scale installations and thematic works. This year, the spotlight shines on Imelda Cajipe Endaya, whose evocative pieces tackle domesticity and women’s empowerment. Joining her are celebrated artists like Ambie Abaño and Max Balatbat, along with the legendary ceramic duo Jon and Tessy Pettyjohn.

In a beautiful nod to the past, the fair also pays tribute to four late Filipino masters whose legacies still shape our visual identity. Visitors can marvel at the “hard-edge” lines of Constancio Bernardo, the ethereal rural scenes of Neorealist Romeo Tabuena, and the jagged, brutalist bronze Tikbalang figures of Solomon Saprid. Also featured is the late Brenda Fajardo, whose iconic Tarot Card series famously re-imagined Philippine history through a feminist lens.

Art Fair Philippines continues to push boundaries with ArtFairPH/Digital. This year, look out for the painter and graphic artist TRNZ, who is debuting an animated short film titled The Keeper. If you’re into the intersection of tech and identity, the TLYR Collective is a must-see, using generative art and augmented reality to create “digital alchemy” that challenges our perception of virtual spaces.

Beyond the gallery walls, the fair remains committed to nurturing new talent. The ArtFairPH/Residencies program has officially opened its 2026 applications today. Led by New York-based curator Anne-Laure Lemaitre, this initiative continues to bridge the gap between local artists and the international community through global exchange grants.

If you want to go beyond just looking at the canvases, ArtFairPH/Talks returns in partnership with the Ateneo Art Gallery and the Museum Foundation of the Philippines. These daily sessions offer a deeper look into the business, history, and evolving trends of the art landscape, making the fair as much an educational experience as it is a visual one.
