What does this say for the much-loved Kalyeserye??
The government just announced that the country is celebrating Filipino Values Month this November, by virtue of Proclamation No. 479, seeking “to create moral awakening and national consciousness on human values that are unique, genuine and positively Filipino”… and look who is on their poster!
I don’t know about you, but it seems to look an AWFUL like Yaya Dub, Alden and Lola Nidora!
A smash hit since debuting on Eat Bulaga in July, AlDub has captured the hearts of millions of Filipinos — just look at their record-breaking Twitter numbers! The Kalyeserye, its actors and the AlDub Nation have also been cited by bodies such as the Catholic Social Media Awards for imparting Filipino values to the nation, especially the youth!
