Alden Richards took to social media to express his gratitude to an honest driver named Alexis Verdejolo Ohno, who returned the lost cellphone of his cousin.
“Disclaimer: Again… I don’t usually do this but this person deserves to be seen,” he began his post, along with a photo of him and Ohno.
The Kapuso actor said he found out his cousin’s phone was missing on Wednesday morning, November 8, when he arrived at the gym.
“This morning, pagdating ko sa gym nalaman ko na nawawala yung phone ng pinsan ko thru Kuya Den (caretaker ng gym where I work out). Since my cousin and I don’t have any means of communication, agad agad ginawa ko lahat ng way para matrace ko yung cellphone niya,” he detailed.
Richards continued, “To cut the story short, I had a call from an unknown number, not knowing kung sino yun, sinagot ko. Nagulat ako na siya pala yung service driver na nasakyan ng pinsan ko going to the gym.”
He emphasized that Ohno didn’t hesitate to travel from Bulacan to Mandaluyong to immediately return the phone, even without knowing it was him.
“Kaya sa‘yo Kuya Alexis Verdejolo Ohno, Mabuhay ka! Sana marami pang tao ang tumulad sayo. Maraming maraming salamat,” Richards concluded his post.
