Davao’s Kadayawan festivities gained an extra spark on Sunday, August 10, 2025, when Ben&Ben appeared without fanfare at SM Lanang Premier’s North Wing Grounds. What started as an ordinary shopping afternoon quickly transformed into a live music moment, as the award-winning folk-pop group played a short set that drew an eager crowd within minutes.

A Short Set That Stopped the Mall
The band performed three songs: the uplifting ‘Saranggola’, the fan-favorite ‘Maybe the Night’, and the romantic ‘Paninindigan Kita’. Each track had the audience singing along, phones raised to capture the unexpected show. The North Wing was full, even the second floor was full of fans.
Building Excitement for Their Davao Concert
The pop-up gig doubled as a warm-up for their upcoming The Travellers Across Dimensions concert, happening on August 30, 2025, at the Holy Cross of Davao College Gymnasium. It will be Ben&Ben’s first major Davao show in years, part of their nationwide tour. Right after the busking session, tickets were made available for purchase at the SM Cinema counters, giving fans a chance to secure seats before they sell out.
