5. Have a Maginhawa Food Trip before the actual Food Festival on October. 11
Much has been written about the restaurants along this food strip. Just look at these articles on Restobar , Stuff Over Burger Cafe ,Breakfast Bin , Van gogh is Bipolar ,Cocina Juan , Katsu Cafe and Gimmick spots 1 & 2 . Maginhawa is indeed one of the most inexpensive food strips in the metro and since their Food Fest on Oct. 11 (admission is free, btw) is something anticipated by everyone, I think it’s best you start writing down the restaurants you want to go to and have a specific dish you want to try out to save you the hassle. Here’s mine!
Marciana’s Puto Pandan and Palabok
Bulalo, Diniguan and Binagoongan from Jek’s Ku-bo
Strawberry Banana Shake and Philly Cheesesteak from RBy’s Steak and Shake
Greed, Sloth and Gluttony dessert from Wicked Kitchen
Snow Creme‘s Taiwan Shaved Ice
And there you have it, When in Manila! Make sure you visit Quezon City ‘s grand celebrations this month! Especially their food fest on the 11th! Here’s the link https://www.facebook.com/qcfoodfest
