Katsu Cafe: The Best Go-To Restaurant for Barkadas

Katsu Cafe: The Best Go-To Restaurant for Barkadas

When in Manila, you might find yourself having a hard time in deciding where to eat. There’s an abundance of new restaurants to try, and people you eat with might have their own preferences, as well. Good thing there are some restaurants that are tried and tested favorites. My barkada‘s favorite go-to restaurant is Katsu Cafe in Maginhawa.

After all, it has the top three things we look for in a restaurant:

 1.) It has cozy interiors.

2

A restaurant that has a relaxing ambiance rewards us from a tiring day at school. Maginhawa is only a stone’s throw away from the Diliman campus, so it’s the ideal getaway for lunch breaks. Katsu Cafe has a spacious and sunny interior that spells out instant good vibes.

My friends and I consider Katsu Cafe as our sweet getaway from stress. The seats are comfortable, and I like how the big windows work as an escape from our congested classrooms!

2.) The food is delicious!

Pork Katsuretsu Set for 195 pesos

The Katsuretsu Set comes with unlimited Japanese rice, miso soup, side salad, and Tonkatsu sauce with sesame seeds, and that’s all for 195 pesos only! You could choose breaded fish katsu, breaded pork katsu, or breaded chicken katsu.

3.) The price is worth it.

It’s one thing to say that a restaurant offers affordable food, and another thing to say that the price is worth the dining experience. With Katsu Cafe’s efficient service, the relaxing ambiance, the taste and quantity of the food, and the unlimited Japanese rice, the price is definitely worth it.
