If you’re still undecided on where to take your family to celebrate Mother’s Day, I recommend you head to Eastwood Mall and check out these restos that offer sumptuous group deals and platters that’s perfect for your weekend feast!

5. Mesa Filipino Moderne (located at the 2nd flr, Eastwood Mall)

Does your family love classic Filipino food? Check out Mesa Filipino Moderne‘s Inihaw Sampler (P725) with grilled chicken leg quarter, squid, liempo, bangus belly, mussels, shrimps and pork bbq! Solb!

I suggest you also order their Crispy Boneless Pata (P505) to make the celebration more “bongga”

4. Rice Lane Asian Market (located at the 3rd flr, Eastwood Mall)

There’s this newly opened resto at the 3rd floor that’s a sure MUST TRY for Asian food lovers! Prepare to embark on an Asian foodtrip as you savor all your favorite Asian dishes here at Rice Lane Asia Market.

This place is both a resto (for dine-in guests) and an Asian grocery for people who need to purchase various Asian sauces, spices and even organic produce.

What to try? I recommend their Kare-Kare, Chicken Satay, Thai Catfish salad and their Thai Milk Tea!

I’ll definitely come back for their Thai Milk tea! Solid!

3. Peri Peri Charcoal Chicken and Sauce Bar (located at the 2nd flr, Al Fresco side of Eastwood Mall)

I don’t really know when they officially opened, but I have been here a couple of times.

Craving for honest to goodness succulent ribs and chicken? Treat your whole family to this….

Flavourful fall-off-the-bone Peri-Peri  Bbq Back Ribs (P1,200 whole slab)

RIO (P655) 1 whole Peri-Peri chicken plus 4 sides!

Make the experience more interesting by trying out their various sauces!

2. Johnny Kahuku’s Hawaiian Shrimp House (located at the GF, Eastwood Mall)

Curious about Polynesian food? Dig into the rich tropical flavours available at Johnny Kahuku’s. The vibe here, I would say, is quite laid back, yet fun- ideal for those who just wanna chill and enjoy.

I was a bit overwhelmed with their huge menu.. good thing their staff was helpful enough to suggest really good items!

What to try? OMG! If you love shrimp,  I  swear, you gotta try  their Classic Kahuku Shrimp Truck (P535)!

Never leave without experiencing their signature Tuna Ahi Poke (P315). Made with the freshest tuna and seasoned just right for your exquisite palate.

Sink your teeth and enjoy their Southern Cajun Shrimp Bucket (P599) – A unique combination of White Shrimps, Original Butter Creole Spice, Andouille Sausage, Cajun Corn, and Baby Potatoes. Good for 2-3 persons!

1. Soban K- Town Grill (located at the 2nd flr, Al Fresco side of Eastwood Mall)

If you love Korean food, then I’m 100% sure that you’ll adore this place like I do. They just opened last May 6, and have already created a lot of buzz around the area.

For Mother’s Day, I recommend you try their 6 Flavor Samgyup Sal Set (P1420) that’s served with a maximum of 4 refillable rice, salad, soup and egg roll appetizers!

for the pork belly flavors, they have the classic, fruity (marinated with apple and pears), wine, soy garlic, Doenjang (Korean fermented Miso) and chili bean.

this meal is already ideal for 3-4! Not bad!

You can grill it yourself, or ask any of their friendly staff to assist you!

New at eating Samgyup Sal? Here’s what you do…

After placing the meat, salad and slice of garlic on the lettuce leaf, simply wrap it and enjoy!!

which flavor did I like the most? Hmmmm… my personal bets are their wine, fruity and Doenjang!
