The restos over at the newly opened Uptown Mall are truly creating a lot of buzz within the foodie community these days….
And of course, as a food lover myself (who doesn’t love food anyway?), I just had to check out what’s cooking at that side of town. Are you curious as well about the new edible finds at Uptown Mall at the Fort? Here are 3  new MUST VISIT eating joints!!
1. Peperoni PizzeriaÂ
Been hearing a lot good reviews about their wood-fired pizzas, so I made sure to try them myself! And yes!! OMG!! They’re all good! If you love Italian food, then I highly recommend you visit with friends! Be sure to order their 21″ XXL pizza!!! Guaranteed to satisfy 6 hungry tummies!
Here are my favorites:
Mozzarella Fasciata con Prosciutto (P595):  Spoil yourself with a fist-sized ball of pan-fried mozzarella wrapped in Prosciutto, drizzled with balsamic glaze then partnered with arugula greens, cherry tomatoes and black olives. The serving is good for sharing, but personally, I prefer devouring it all by myself! hehehehe
Aglio Olio e Peperoncino (P340): Al dente pasta with sliced garlic, red chili and olive oil. Prepare to awaken your tastebuds and fall in-love with pasta again with this super simple, unassuming yet  flavorful creation.  Hands down, this is damn good!
Pancetta Pizza (P565 12″ Large size): Thin crust pizza with Italian cured bacon, slice tomatoes and soft egg. This one’s as good as it looks, no doubt about it!
Break the yolk,  spread it evenly and pleasure your palate with the burst of flavor and assortment of textures playing inside the mouth
I eat ‪pizza‬ coz “You are what you eat,” and I want to be the Best thing ever!
Prosciutto Crudo di Parma (P1250 21″ XXL size): Pizza loaded with Parma Ham, topped with rocket salad composed of fresh arugula and slices of Parmesan cheese! If you’re dining with a group of friends, I recommend you get the XXL size!

2. Fely J’sÂ
Yearning to taste your well-loved Pinoy and Asian classic dishes? Fely J’s  never disappoints!
Representing the famous LJC Restaurant Group is a restaurant brand dedicated to the memory of Felicidad de Jesus-Cruz, mother of the late restaurateur Larry J. Cruz. It features Fely J’s treasured recipes which she picked up in her travels. The restaurant offers a variety of Filipino and Asian dishes served Fely J’s style: fresh, natural and attractive. Their best sellers include their Lamb Kaldereta, Dilis-cious Rice, and Tilapia with Sweet Plum Sauce. I also recommend you try their new items like their Braised US Beef Short Ribs with Radish and their Homemade Suman, with Mango!
Lamb Kaldereta (P455): Stewed lamb with capsicum, onions and olives. I guarantee that this dish ain’t baaaaaaaaad for you!
Braised US Beef Short Ribs with Radish (P695): Slow cooked beef with radish and Chinese spices. Be sure to order 2 extra cups of rice with this! =)
Tilapia with Sweet Plum Sauce (P399): Down home delicious deep golden fried tilapia with sweet flavorful tangy plum sauce!
Dilis-cious Rice (P225): Super crispy deep-friend dilis with taosi, generously topped over steamed rice. You’ll forget your “no rice” diet once you try this one!
Homemade Suman with Mango (P155): Layers of  bean, pandan and coconut glutenous rice topped with mango and coconut cream. The most unique suman dish in the planet!
3. Munch Town
For a more pleasurable Uptown Mall Cinema experience, Â drop by the newly opened MunchTown at the 3rd floor and grab your grub of choice. Go loco over their selection of affordably prices hotdogs, burgers, nachos, chili fries and more! They are still on soft opening, so expect more items to come out soon!
Chili Dog (P140): Best eaten inside the cinema ‘coz no one’s looking! Sssshhhhh hahaha!
Chicago Dog (P140): My personal pick! Meaty hotdog with sweet tangy pickles, onion, tomatoes topped with jalapenos. It’s not too spicy I swear!
Chili & Cheese Fries (P120): Fries, smothered with rich and thick melted cheese and meaty chili con carne. Re-sked that diet next week instead ok?! hehehehe

Aside from these newly opened establishments, I also recommend you try Morganfield’s famous humungous  Sticky Bones! Furthermore, mall goers can also dine at Italianni’s at the 3rd floor or popular fast-food chains like KFC and McDonald’s located at the lower ground floor.
