2016 just started, but the announcements of these movies coming out next year are making us want to fast forward to 2017 and just get the year over with already. :p Okay, not really… I’d like to take my time anticipating and actually watching Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. But still, here are some movies to look forward to in 2017! 😀

Gambit – 2017
Not much has been said about the Gambit movie other than Channing Tatum being cast in it, but I personally cannot wait to see if he’ll do justice to the role. He definitely looks the part, though – don’t you agree? 🙂
Resident Evil: The Final Chapter – January 2017
I’m not really sure how I feel about this. I feel that, like the Fast and the Furious series, this series has gone on for far too long. But hey, if you’ll actually have a lot of zombies in this one, it might be a good ride. And yes, Milla Jovovich is still in it.
Bad Boys III – February 2017
I know, right? WHY? But still. I loved the first two Bad Boys movies so much (especially the first one!) that I’ll probably end up watching this one anyway. While Will Smith hasn’t confirmed his return as Detective Mike Lowrey yet, Martin Lawrence has already signed on as Detective Marcus Burnett.
Fifty Shades Darker – February 2017
Mr. Grey will be back… for those of you who like this series.
Untitled Wolverine Sequel – March 2017
Hugh Jackman will be back reprising his role as Wolverine in another Wolverine movie. Rawr!
Power Rangers – March 2017
Oh, my childhood! A Power Rangers movie is coming out in 2017 with a virtually unknown cast. Here’s to hoping they live up to their colors!!!
Kong: Skull Island – March 2017
I wasn’t a big fan of the Jack Black King Kong movie, but I’ve always loved the story of King Kong, so I can’t wait to see what they’re coming up with this time around. With Brie Larson, Tom Hiddleston and Samuel L. Jackson as the cast members, though, I’m sure it will be quite the movie!
Beauty and the Beast – March 2017
I’ve been excited about this movie since they first announced that Emma Watson would be playing Belle. Now that the rest of the cast has been announced, I’m even more excited. Look out for Ewan McGregor as Lumiere, Emma Thompson as Mrs. Potts, Luke Evans as Gaston, Ian McKellen as Cogsworth and Kevin Kline as Maurice, amongst many others.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales – May 2017
It’s been a while since we’ve had a Pirates of the Caribbean movie, and Johnny Depp reprises his role as Jack Sparrow in this one. If you loved his character, you’re sure to love this movie, too.
