According to zylTV, his father has been battling Stage 3 cancer since September 2018 and is already spreading to his lungs and liver. “He is currently undergoing chemotherapy,” he said on the chatbot of his streaming platform. “These are the circumstances that the doctors gave him: No chemo 1 year death, 3 years chemo 20% live.”
He pleaded his audience to donate any amount that they possibly can to fund his dad’s treatment.
As of July 11, it has been revealed on zylTV’s Twitter account that his family has received CAD$ 20,000 (around PHP 780,000) in monetary donations which they will use to invest in a hospital bed and monthly medication.
During one of his recent live streams, zylTV told his father on camera how much he has been able to raise so far. “Happy?” he asked his father, who was rendered speechless but managed to smile and nod.
