2015 has been a busy year. Straight after New Year, I was already assigned to review restaurants, gadgets and some stuff that I hadn’t even heard off. Assigned as the writer/photographer and sometimes just as the photographer, it was a privilege to try some of Manila’s up-and-coming or even best restaurants.
So, after the 5th or so restaurant review, it got me thinking that if this continued until the end of the year, I would make a list of the best I’ve tried that I am willing to spend my own cash on. So, without further adieu, here are my top 5 picks for 2015.
5 Restaurants I Loved in 2015
5. Le Jardin
Magret de canard a l’orange
Saumon fume Maison
Coquilles St. Jacques poelees, puree de pommes de terre aux truffes
Le Jardin has just got to be on this list. The quiet and elegant French restaurant located at Bonifacio Global City serves up some of the most authentic French dishes in the Metro. Trained and inspired by chef Gils Brault of the world famous Trois Gourmand will ensure you a dining experience you will never forget.
Prices starts at Php2,200 for a 3-course meal, Php2,800 for a 4-course meal, and Php3,200 for a 5-course meal and I assure you that is money well spent as long as you don’t eat here every day.
