Actress Xyriel Manabat isn’t one to shy away from being honest. After fans noticed that her Instagram bio includes a link to the clinic where she had her nose done, the Kapamilya star quickly went viral—again.

Instead of dodging the topic, Xyriel addressed it head-on in an exclusive interview with ABS-CBN News. “Okay lang naman. Two years ko na siyang bio. Naka-tag ‘yung clinic ng doctor ko,” she said, adding that she’s proud to be open about it.
“It’s not an issue. I’m proud of it. And I’m happy to advocate about it kasi empowering din siya sa mga tao na may insecurities. There is nothing wrong naman with making yourself more attractive,” she shared.
When asked about the mixed reactions online, she simply said, “If it’s not a huge deal to me, I don’t mind what it is to them.”
Xyriel recently attended the premiere of her film Near Death alongside Charlie Dizon, looking confident and radiant. For her, being transparent about cosmetic work is less about appearance and more about owning one’s choices.
“Hangga’t kaya kong maging boses ng mga voiceless, I’ll speak up for them. At ‘wag silang mahihiya to stand up [for] what’s right,” she said. “Huwag nilang kalilimutan na ipaglaban kung ano ‘yung napi-feel nilang dapat nilang bosesan.”
She also opened up about her approach to acting, which many fans admire for its authenticity. “Wala pong masyadong workshop. Siguro ‘yun po ‘yung maganda. Raw lahat. Walang halong technical… Kaya po ‘yung nakikita nila [ay] natural. Galing lang po talaga siya sa totoo kong emosyon,” Xyriel explained.
