Chris Evans and Alba Baptista have officially welcomed their first child together, and the news came as a sweet surprise to fans. The couple, who have kept their relationship mostly private, quietly became parents on October 24, 2025.

According to People, the Captain America star and his wife recently welcomed a baby, Alma Grace Baptista Evans, in Massachusetts. An insider shared that the couple is “enjoying their privacy and these special first few days as a family.”
Chris and Alba first sparked dating rumors back in 2021 after fans noticed some Instagram follows. Their relationship was confirmed in 2022, and a year later, they tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Cape Cod, surrounded by close family, friends, and a few of Chris’ Marvel co-stars like Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Hemsworth.
The two made their red carpet debut at the 2024 Vanity Fair Oscars After-Party, giving fans a rare glimpse into their relationship. Despite being public figures, they’ve mostly chosen to keep their love story—and now, their growing family—out of the spotlight.
Chris has spoken before about wanting to settle down and start a family, saying, “It wasn’t the work they made that most people are proud of; it was the relationships—the families they created, the love they found, the love they shared.”
Now, it seems that Chris is living that dream. Congratulations to Chris and Alba on their newest adventure as parents.
