October is off to an exciting start for Filipino EVOLs as they welcome XLOV to Manila for the group’s first-ever fan meet and mall tour.
Fans of the four-member Korean pop (K-pop) group are in for two fun-filled evenings on October 1 and 2, 2025, at Robinsons Las Piñas and Ayala Malls Market! Market, respectively. Wumuti, Rui, Hyun, and Haru will perform their one-of-a-kind discography, with a few exclusive schedules and activities in between—including a much-awaited performance at the iconic Wish 107.5 bus.

XLOV took a bold step into the K-pop industry this year with unique approaches to their music, performances, and stories, both as individual idols and as a team. You don’t come across a group like them every day. Sure enough, once you get to know them more and see them perform in person, you can’t help but agree and enter your EVOL era, too.
As K-pop continues to thrive on a world-class scale, here’s how the four rising stars of XLOV have made a name for themselves as one of the industry’s most promising multinational boy groups.
Idols In Touch With Their Artistry
XLOV didn’t let their debut era pass by without making a statement that fully represents who they are as performers. Before they released their first single, “I’mma Be” this January, the members introduced themselves to the vast K-pop scene as an idol group with a “genderless” concept.
The term has always been more than just a theme for XLOV, though. It’s a symbol of their artistic journey that they’ve embodied through their songs, choreography, style, and live performances. As “genderless” artists, the members have opened their music up to various interpretations and challenged the societal norms and stereotypes that have long surrounded K-pop as a whole.
XLOV’s artistry is limitless, and they’ll keep being unapologetically themselves, no matter how they redefine the new generation of K-pop. As they fearlessly showcase their creative freedom and self-expression, they’ve inspired hundreds of fans to embrace their true selves, too.
Destined to Thrive Together

The four members of XLOV hail from different countries across Asia. Their leader, Wumuti, is Chinese; Rui is Taiwanese; Hyun is Korean; and Haru is Japanese. They may have grown up in diverse environments, but they’re no strangers to the stage and spotlight. The universe was already planning their “joint slay” when they were still practically strangers, giving them the affirmation they all needed that they would go far as a team.
Wumuti, Rui, and Haru met on Boys Planet, the audition program that formed the nine-member boy group, ZEROBASEONE. Though the three of them didn’t make it to the show’s final lineup, they still took charge of their futures and made their K-pop dreams come true. Hyun didn’t join the competition, but as Wumuti’s long-time friend, he tagged along and also became an upcoming idol.
XLOV now receives ample love and support from EVOLs worldwide. Whether you’ve stanned them since Boys Planet or just entered the fandom, it won’t be long before you fall in love with the members’ talents and personalities that radiate major “diva energy.” They’re bringing their dynamic and artistic flair to Manila this week, and EVOLs are more than welcome to join the hype.
Future Masters of Their Craft
XLOV has only released four songs so far, but the members have maximized every opportunity to hone their craft and become well-rounded idols. Wumuti wrote and produced “I’mma Be,” as well as their comeback single, “1&Only.” He also co-wrote the group’s B-side tracks, “1 of LOV” and “BIZNESS.”
With all these opportunities at their disposal, the XLOV members are well on their way to establishing a signature sound. We can’t wait to see how they’ll earn their stripes as self-made K-pop artists. They’re taking the international music scene by storm, and we’re stoked to find out where their next comebacks will take them.
