The boy group, which debuted in July 2023 through the survival show “Boys Planet,” is slated to disband in January 2026. However, the agency briefly responded to these reports.
“We highly value ZEROBASEONE’s potential and possibility for growth,” the agency said in an article published by Soompi.
“We have continuously been discussing with each member’s agency since the beginning of this year regarding the possibility of extending the project group activity period,” the agency commented.
ZEROBASEONE, which consists of nine members—Kim Ji-woong, Zhang Hao, Sung Han-bin, Seok Matthew, Kim Tae-rae, Ricky, Kim Gyu-vin, Park Gun-wook, and Han Yu-jin—successfully debuted with their first extended play (EP), “Youth in the Shade,” a certified commercial hit.
The group has earned multiple accolades in a short span, winning prestigious honors from MAMA Awards, Melon Music Awards, and Asia Artist Awards, among others.
They are also set to release their first full album, “Never Say Never,” on September 1, which includes the lead single “Iconik.”
