We first saw Sophie Turner as young Jean Grey in ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ last year and she surprised everyone with her portrayal of the red-headed mutant. She isn’t a new character, though. Jean Grey has appeared in the older X-Men movies (played by Famke Janssen) where, in ‘X-Men 3’, she turned into the Dark Phoenix, eliminating every mutant onsite.

Well, it seems like the Dark Phoenix is going to be the focal point of the next X-Men movie set to show in November 2018. It will follow the 1980s storyline where Jean Grey discovers her psychic powers and is tentatively called ‘X-Men: Supernova’. After bidding goodbye to Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, now is actually a good time to focus on other mutants and find a new favorite, don’t you think?
