According to reports, the Manila city government is set to inaugurate a second public skate park in Manila — this time, it’s the 1,800 square-meter Vitas Skate Park in Tondo.

The first skate park is at Canonigo Sports Complex in Paco, and was inaugurated in December 2015.

The reportedly P33-million Vitas Skate Park will have a covered court and customary skating obstacles for skaters. It will also have a two-story building housing a dance studio and a theater, as well as recording studios for musicians.

“I am prioritizing the construction and repair of sports centers and similar facilities for the youth to keep them away from illegal drugs,” Estrada reportedly said.

Reports also say that the park would be funded and maintained by the Manila government.
