City of Manila to Build Skate Plaza for Skate Enthusiasts

If you’re a skater, it’s hard to find a decent place to skate at. That’s why many skate enthusiasts settle for abandoned lots or side streets where not many people or cars go.

But that may change soon as the City of Manila is building a skate plaza so skaters can go about their business. This plaza is set to open before the end of the year in Paco District. According to Mayor Erap Estrada on Facebook:

A skate plaza for the city’s skateboard enthusiasts, to be undertaken jointly by the City of Manila and the organization One Manila, will soon rise at the Canonigo Playground, Paco District, Manila. Perspectives of the plaza, which project proponents say will be open before the end of the year, show it to be a spacious area with generous room for gatherings of young Manilenyos eager to show off their skateboarding abilities.
