Marking the first phase of the launch of Hann Casino Resort, the first fully-integrated lifestyle resort in Clark, is the soft opening of Hann Casino last December 2022 and now the soft opening of Swissotel Clark – the first of its brand in the country. With these latest developments, Hann Resorts seeks to establish itself not only as an international destination for tourists but also as a powerful master brand that has gathered together a collaboration of partners for one single goal: to take discerning guests on a playful escape out of the ordinary and offer a wide range of options to play bold and live bold.

Neki Liwanag, AVP of Hann Philippines Inc., the company that brought the Swissotel brand to the Philippines, said Swissotel Clark is a fitting addition to this entire development as it will further level up the gaming, leisure, hospitality, and dining experience here. It stands alongside the Hann Casino, Clark Marriott, which recently opened the imperial Wu Xing Restaurant, also the first of its brand in the Philippines, and in a few years, a Mercure Hotel.

Situated in Clark Freeport and Special Economic Zone, Swissotel Clark is set to become a vibrant destination within the evolving city and the best part is that it’s only a two-hour drive away from Manila so you can definitely go there to relax and de-stress even if you only have a day or two to do so.

Situated in a contemporary 22-story building, the 372-room Swissotel Clark is the tallest hotel in the Northern Metro Manila region. The hotel incorporates a modern take on Swiss design elements and architectural touches, resulting in a space where you can feel at ease as you recharge. It really gives off those European vibes so that you’ll feel like you’ve traveled out of the country completely – a bonus for those like me who haven’t been able to travel in the past few years.

As of March, 1,270 Premium and Swiss Advantage Rooms are available for booking with the broader hotel complex launching in the last quarter of 2022. A statement wall reflecting the pattern of the Swiss Alps is one of the design highlights in each room.

The bed is extremely comfy and it has to be noted that their TV is incredibly easy to connect with your phone, allowing you to watch your favorite Netflix series and movies to your heart’s content. If you plan on just relaxing in your room for a few hours, this is definitely the perfect companion to have during your stay.

Overlooking the city and its surrounding rolling hills, all rooms feature plenty of natural light, with dramatic sunrise or sunset views. This was the view from my room right before sunset but I rushed downstairs to enjoy the sunset from the poolside instead. I. Was. Not. Disappointed.

Swissotel Clark also offers a wide range of culinary concepts. Inspired by the roots of Swissotel, the specialty restaurant, Markt, serves European cuisine and grilled dishes in a colorful market setting.

Here, you can enjoy pizza, pasta, and other delicious European dishes like sausages, schnitzel, and goulash. Having grown up in Germany, it was such a delight to be able to taste these delicious dishes in all of their glory.

The Atrium, on the other hand, serves afternoon tea, snacks, drinks, and cocktails amidst a relaxing atmosphere. The dessert bar, Oma’s, can also be found here where you can satisfy your sweet tooth with freshly baked pastries and signature ice cream in a playful and dynamic setting.

They also have a playful poolside bar called Swiss Tropic where you can enjoy refreshing drinks, comfort food, and small bites.

Later this year, Swissotel Clark will also be opening a classic Italian restaurant called Ristorante Di Verona in an Italian-inspired indoor space or alfresco. Here, they will offer homemade pasta and wood-fired oven pizza with a fine selection of wines from around the world. A gym and spa are set to open later this year, as well.

Swissotel Clark is located inside the Clark Freeport Zone, just 3km away from Clark International Airport and 113km away from Manila International Airport. The hotel is near many golf courses and tourist attractions such as the Clark Museum, Aqua Planet Water Park, Dinosaur Island, Puning Hot Spring, Mount Arayat National Park, and Walking Street.

If you want to experience the hotel as early as now, you can do so at a great rate! Special rates are available for bookings from now until April 30, 2022, for stays until June 30, 2022. This is the first Swissotel property in the Philippines, and it surpassed all of my expectations, providing me with the much-needed respite that I needed from a busy work week. I will definitely be going back.
