World Balance is quite a common brand name to hear When in Manila. Or at least it was when I was in high school. A lot of my friends swore by World Balance when it came to P.E. or Physical Education time and I was no different. I remember my first pair of World Balance shoes were black and white and I wore them religiously to all of my P.E. classes and cheerleading practices. (Damn straight: I was a cheerleader!)
I’ll have to admit that World Balance vanished from my radar when I moved to Thailand, though. And then, after I moved back here two years ago, I came to find a whole new different brand of World Balance.
While World Balance was once just a popular brand for sporting footwear for me back in the day, I came to find that they have all sorts of different active lifestyle designs available for consumers nowadays, all of which provide great quality and affordability at the same time.
World Balance Shoes that I was most familiar with included the following:
Without a doubt, World Balance is most well-known for their Sports Active collection – or at least that’s the case with my generation. This includes all of the footwear used for sports, such as basketball shoes, cross-training shoes, running shoes, tennis shoes, outdoor shoes and sports sandals.
World Balance for Men
I was very pleasantly surprised to see that World Balance has upped the ante and now has a whole Street Casual collection available. I’m not actually sure how long this has been around… maybe I just didn’t care very much about fashion in high school… but here are some of my favorite men’s World Balance footwear that is perfect for everyday use and non-sporting activities:
World Balance for Women
Naturally, men aren’t the only ones who can rejoice. There were actually so many awesome women’s designs at World Balance that it took me more than an hour to decide on what I wanted.
I ended up getting the awesome Alexa in Red from World Balance and this is how I styled it for a casual day out in the South:
