Now that almost everyone is working from home due to the lockdown, this is just the attire we need.
Since most of our meetings are done through video conference, you might want to dress up a bit on top without compromising comfort on the bottom. Of course, you still need to look professional when you go on face-to-face meetings with your boss, colleagues, or clients. However, during this time, it is quite challenging to put on pants.
Japanese creative agency Whatever created a Kickstarter project called WFH Jammies, a selection of attires that shows business on top and slumber party on the bottom.
The concept, according to their post on their Kickstarter page is as follows:
As the COVID-19 rages around the world, many companies are encouraging people to work remotely from home, and video conferencing using such tools as Zoom, Skype, and others have become commonplace????Remote work allows you to work in the comfort of your own home and jammies. However, it’s a little troublesome to have to change clothes only when you go to a video conference…
For everyone that shares this same concern, we’ve created a remote workers’ jammies, that looks formal on video, but loose & comfy outside the frame?
With this, you’ll be able to attend a presentation right after you wake up, or a client meeting before you go to bed, while looking serious on video and staying super relaxed at the same time. Please try it on, and experience a comfortable remote work lifestyle!
*The garments are designed and manufactured with the support of Akihiko Kimura, the designer of the fashion brand LOKITHO.
WFH Jammies come in 3 color variations – White Shirt x Grey Jersey, Pink Shirt x Black Jersey, and Blue Stripe Shirt x Dark Grey Jersey.
More info about WFH Jammies on their Kickstarter Page.
The price range is from 9000 JPY (~P 4,236) for the top only, to 12,000 JPY (~P5,648) for both the top and bottom.
