This Hotel Has a Heated Pool Perfect for Night Swimming

Now that restrictions have eased up a bit and my daughter and I are finally fully vaccinated, we’ve become a little more comfortable with the thought of going on staycations again. It had been two whole years since our last staycation, so to say that we were excited to take some time off from our boring daily routine would be a huge understatement. For our first staycation since the pandemic, we decided to visit Winford Manila.

In case you aren’t familiar with Winford Manila yet, it is located at San Lazaro Tourism & Business Park in the heart of Manila, where the San Lazaro Hippodrome used to be. Since my daughter basically only looks for two things in a staycation – a great bathtub and a great swimming pool – this was a no-brainer for us. Add to that the fact that their pool is heated and it really became the best choice by far. Not only is their pool heated, but our room also came with a full view of the pool so we could just look out the window at different times of the day to see whether there were a lot of people there or not.

If you like your privacy, this is definitely the kind of room you should get.

The bed is huge and oh-so-comfortable, as well. Even though I set an alarm to get some work done in the morning before my daughter woke up; it was just so comfy, I ended up sleeping in.

Winford Manila also offers ballrooms that can seat up to 700 people for weddings, parties, and events. In case you want to get out of the hotel for a bit, there is also an SM right in front of it so you can walk around and get some shopping done while you’re at it. Talk about convenience!
