The heroic death of the 44 police under the Philippine National Police-Special Action Force (PNP-SAF) last January 25 in Mamasapano, Maguindanao is a heart-breaking incident for Filipinos, if not for humanity.
In line with this, actor and former Laguna governor ER Ejercito announced that he plans to make a movie about the life and valor of these young policemen.
Ejercito posted on his Facebook page:
(Rough translation: In honor of the 44 heroes of the Elite PNP-SAF officers who offered their lives in the Mamasapano clash, yours truly plans to make a movie regarding the colorful life and heroism of our brave soldiers to give them proper recognition. #Fallen 44
