White Hat: More Than Just Froyo! Waffles Turned Sandwiches, Special Desserts and More!
Have you been to White Hat at Alabang Town Center recently? Honestly speaking, I hadn’t been there in a while, so I was so surprised to see how beautifully they had renovated the place from the old box-like version that it was to a whole new colourful, happy and visual experience overall.
The interiors are colourful and inviting, and the glass walls enable people to enjoy the view, including a full view of the playground at the center of the outside plaza (important for mommies like me).
The best part (well, for smokers like me, anyway) is that White Hat is right by the only designated Smoking Area of the mall, so you can enjoy a cigarette (or 5) while sitting outside and sipping on some coffee or having some froyo.
Which brings me to my next point: did you know that White Hat does not just serve froyo? Sorry if this is old news, but my mind was blown. Whenever I used to hear about White Hat, froyo was automatically the only thing that came to mind. In fact, I used to go in, order my froyo and leave without even so much as sitting down to properly study their menu.
Well, I had the privilege to finally do exactly that with my friends recently and we loved what we saw. White Hat has so much more to offer than just froyo – and that’s an understatement!

White Hat: More Than Just Froyo! Waffles Turned Sandwiches, Special Desserts and More!
For starters, they have these delicious waffle sandwiches – yes, waffles turned sandwiches – which admittedly made me raise my eyebrows in doubt at first, especially when I saw that we were about to taste waffles with apples in them… Say hello to the Creamy Chicken and Apples Waffle Sandwich!
But man, the minute I bit into that sandwich, all of those doubts vanished! It was the most delicious ‘sandwich’ I had tasted in a while. The waffle was soft yet crunchy in all of the right places and the added sweetness and crunch of the apples made things even better. This was the first thing that we tried and while we were a lil overwhelmed by the amount of waffle sandwiches set before us (there was a Curry Tuna and Cranberries version, too, as seen below), we still ate them all. They were that good.
To be honest, I actually thought the sandwiches were good enough, so nothing prepared me for the Homestyle Waffle Collection – the Hazelnut Parade one, in particular. This homemade waffle was topped with froyo, Nutella, hazelnuts, mangoes and whipped cream. HEAVEN!
I couldn’t even concentrate on the conversation that we were having at the table anymore because I was saying “Oh my God” in delight every 5 seconds. The inner selfish foodie in me didn’t even want to share the dish with anyone. I’m sorryyyy. It was just so goooood. Huhuhu.
If you don’t like any of their offerings in the Homemade Waffle Collection or simply want to personalise and name your own, you can do that, too. All that you have to do is choose your toppings and amount of froyo scoops and you’re good to go!
