To wash everything down, we got to try a variety of drinks, as well, the most notable of which were the the Original Chocolate and the Spiced Chocolate drinks.
While the Original Chocolate already tasted perfect, it was the Spiced Chocolate that truly won my heart over times a million. I love all things spicy and all things cinnamon and having a drink with different spices in it, including cinnamon? Heaven in my mouth. I had two.
Of course, if isn’t raining, hot chocolate might not be the best choice in our country. For those days, White Hat also has regular coffee drinks (hot, cold and frappes), creamy treats and fruity smoothies for you to enjoy, the latter of which are especially refreshing!
Whew. We’re not done. Regular froyo aside, White Hat also has other delectable sweet treats on offer on their dessert menu:
We got to try a couple of their Luxe Parfaits, which cam suit every mood you could possibly be in. The two that we tried were exceedingly yummy. Above, you will see the Sidesplittingly Banana Luxe Parfait and below, you will see the Seriously Fruity Luxe Parfait – new sweet twists to regular froyo and regular parfaits if you are in need of a real dessert binge.
For more traditional people, they also have cakes, the most notable of which are their cheesecakes pictured below:
What I loved the most about their cheesecakes is the fact that they don’t taste as rich, as creamy or as sweet as regular cheesecakes. I learned that this is because they use froyo and other healthier ingredients in them to keep the delicious taste and texture of cheesecake intact sans the guilt! Awesomesauce!
Can you believe that we still hadn’t tried everything that White Hat has to offer at that rate? They also have Yogurt Muffins that I can’t wait to sink my teeth into next time… once my sugar rush from the last visit has died down, that is.
So, when looking for a place to eat something refreshingly new in Alabang, try out these offerings from White Hat that I’m sure you didn’t know existed – or were at least too scared to try out. They’re well worth the money (especially the waffles)!
