When in Prague – What To Do, Where To Stay & Where to Eat

#WhenInPrague – Where To Stay

Just like any city, Prague offers accommodations in all price ranges. One of the most beautiful as well as most ‘happening’ places to stay at in Prague is the city’s Old Town. While there were many hotel choices for us to select from, we were lucky enough to call the stunning Four Seasons Hotel Prague our home during our visit.

Four Seasons Prague Hotel

The Four Seasons Prague Hotel is probably the best address in the city that offers it all: fantastic location, excellent service, great food, beautiful interiors, décor, rooms and amenities.

In the middle of Prague’s Old Town, the Four Seasons Prague Hotel is ideally located and in walking distance to all major sights. It overlooks the beautiful Vlatva River and is just a few steps away from the famous Charles Bridge.

The hotel’s interiors mirror classical, renaissance and baroque styles, yet offer all the conveniences of modern technology. An indication of the city’s outstanding history is made evident in its beautiful architecture. The classic cohesive and luxurious theme throughout the entire building creates an air of sophisticated chic. This combination of beauty and comfort can truly be enojyed by any type of visitor: from the business to solo traveler to couples and families.

Luxury and comfort galore inside our beautiful suite

Upon entering our hotel room, we immediately knew that we wish our short stay could be extended. Plush pillows dress a large King-sized bed. Baroque and classic interiors give an air of royalty and let you be a king or queen during your stay. Beautiful blue-toned accents decorate the entire room. Our Four Seasons suite was nearly as big as a small metropolitan apartment.

A personal welcome note to greet us in our hotel room upon arrival.

The staff at the Four Seasons was more than accommodating. Upon entering the hotel room, a note welcoming and greeting me personally awaited. Some fresh fruit and candy to enjoy were prepared as well. These small touches and this sign of caring definitely make the already remarkable Four Seasons Hotel Prague a stand-out.

Excellent breakfast served at the Cotto Crudo Restaurant inside the Four Seasons Hotel Prague.

The breakfast buffet offers a wide selection of hunger-satisfying goodness, including a large local pastry selection, a variety of European cheeses, cold cuts, exquisit seafood as well as all the regular breakfast favorites. Freshly pressed fruit juices are the norm here, a luxury we happily experienced each morning.

A private table overlooking the river Vlatava, with an unmatched view over the city of Prague, including the Prague Castle and the Charles Bridge.

Special occasions – think engagements or birthdays or a ‘just because you mean so much to me’-dinner – can be enjoyed at the hotel’s private terrace overloking the river Vlatava and offers stunning views over the Charles Bridge, Prague Castle and city as a whole.

The private terrace at the Four Seasons Hotel Prague offers fascinating views over the illuminated city by night. A special occasion firework brightened the night here.

All in all we absolutely loved and enjoyed our stay at the Four Seasons Hotel Prague. The service was so accomodating, the room comfortable and luxurious, the food excellent and the amenities outstanding. We enjoyed making use of the upscale hotel gym each morning before devouring a scrumptious breakfast at the Cotto Crudo restaurant. The staff made us feel special and welcome and the excellent service will certainly remain one of many fond memories of our Prague visit.

The Four Seasons Prague is an upscale luxury hotel and since it may even be the city’s best accommodation, its prices reflect this. However, spluring on a beautiful and guaranteed unforgettable hotel stay in an otherwise affordable city (for European standards) is a gift you should consider giving yourself.
