Ever wondered what sunrises and sunsets look like from different parts of the world or on days that you might have missed them? Have you ever thought about how other people feel when they capture them, or if we all see the same thing and yet, maybe, feel differently about it? To some, sunrises and sunsets are a daily reminder of how beautiful beginnings and endings can be. I personally get lost in my thoughts whenever I catch a glimpse of them.
Whatever kept me up at night long enough or woke me up just in time to watch the sky transition to another day, seeing the sun slowly bring light and color crawling before my eyes never fails to lift up my spirit. And then, as they call it a wrap on everyone, after a long day of grind, the sight of the setting sun calms me down. For me, it’s as if it quiets down the noise, slowly fading out until there’s none. I’ll never get tired of watching them, even after witnessing these beauties countless times in my lifetime.
It happens every single day but we don’t always have time to appreciate it. If only we could stop the world and freeze time just to have a moment of peace in this busy adult life. Sometimes, I wish I could see it from somewhere else – see something I usually see but from a different perspective. I wonder if it would give me the same feelings or not.
