You might think La Lakers‘ Ron Artest is just probably having one of his highly-publicized fits. But apparently, Artest has filed a petition at the LA County Superior Court to change his name to ‘Metta World Peace’. Now I did a quick search online and found out that ‘metta’ means happiness, love, goodwill and all that mush. And I believe it’s got something to do with that citizenship award he got last April lol.

Wow. In almost every top ten worst fights, crazy moments, hard fouls, and tragedies in NBA History, the name ‘Ron Artest‘ constantly appears. And now he wants to change his name to Metta World Peace? He ain’t even close to the word “World Peace” let alone “Peace”. Whatever he’s up to, may he find “inner peace” instead lol.
