What a historic day for Russell Westbrook.
Westbrook recorded 50 points, 16 rebounds and 10 assists to lead the Thunder to a 106-105 win over the Devner Nuggets.
It was the OKC star’s 42nd triple double of the season, beating Oscar Robertson’s record of 41 which was set in the 1961-62 season.
It was also Westbrook’s third 50-point triple double this season.
What’s even amazing is Westbrook hit a game-winning three to sink the Nuggets and their chances of a playoff spot. What an exclamation point!
This amazing performance definitely boosts his case for MVP this season.
