As a daughter of someone who work overseas, I can attest to the fact that sending your parents to the airport was one of the most difficult things I had to do when I was a child. I’m pretty sure the pain doubles when you’re the parent who would sacrifice anything just to provide for your family.

The video shows us a crying five-year-old girl named Vania Ayn Perdido who won’t let go of her father because he is leaving the country again for work. She begs her dad saying “Uban ko, daddy” (Let me go with you, daddy) while hugging him tight.
“This is not to traumatize the kid, but to let her feel the pain and love. Marami din kasi hindi makaintindi. Okay naman po siya agad pagkaalis. Ganoon lang naman ang mga bata. Ginala lang namin sa mall, tapos nag ice cream. Moment lang talaga nila ‘yon kasi nakakaintindi na siya. Close kasi silang dalawa.”, shared by Icar Yves, the little girl’s mother.
