“The Good Will Hunting” actors Ben Affleck and Matt Damon are back on the big screen with “Air”! Inspired by true events, the dramedy is about the rise of Nike as they partner with now basketball legend Michael Jordan–thus, creating the iconic Jordan brand.
Affleck, who also directed the Amazon Studios film, portrays the sportswear giant’s co-founder Phil Knight. Meanwhile, Damon stars as Sonny Vaccaro, the former sports marketing executive who was apparently responsible for closing the deal with Jordan before he even set foot on an NBA court.
Other “Air” cast members are Jason Bateman as Rob Strasser, Chris Messina as David Falk, Chris Tucker as Howard White, Matthew Maher as Peter Moore, Gustaf Skarsgård as Horst Dassler, and Julius Tennon as James Jordan.
