Domingos-Antonio Gomes, a Portuguese musician, recently set a new Guinness World Record for the most number of piano key hits in one minute. When he took on the challenge, the record to beat was 765 key hits in one minute, a record held by Bence Peter from Hungary. Gomes spent four months training for his Guinness World Records challenge.
In the end, Gomes’ efforts proved worthy, when he beat the existing record by 59 hits, totaling at an impressive 824 piano key hits in one minute. Wow.

When asked about why he took on the challenge, Gomes shared: “I broke this record in order to gain visibility in the international world of music by demonstrating my athletic prowess on the piano.”
