The real-life haunted doll that first came to haunt the big screen in the movie The Conjuring, which came out in 2013, is back. This time, viewers will be taken back to many years ago when the doll was created and lived with a dollmaker and his wife. The doll, Anabelle, belonged to their daughter, who tragically died in a car accident.
Twenty years later, the husband and wife opened their home to a nun and little girls of a displaced orphanage. This is where the nightmare begins.
So far scoring a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, Anabelle: Creation seems to be yet another promising horror film, much like its predecessors in The Conjuring franchise.
