“Maaari ka bang imbitahin maging ligaya, pangarap, at pag-asa?”
That is the question Myke Salomon asked as he proposed to Gab Pangilinan on the closing night of the hit musical Mula Sa Buwan.
Salomon plays Cyrano, while Pangilinan essays the role of Roxane. Both are leads of the show.

Salomon wrote about the proposal on his Instagram page. He said, “pwede naman namin gawin to sa dressing room pagkatapos ng show, pero pinili ko gawin sa sagradong tahanan. Ang entablado.. kung saan ang lahat ng kulay ng emosyon, ngiti, palakpak, tawa, luha, saya, pag ibig at katotohanan ay umaapaw.”
The actor also addressed Pangilinan, saying, “salamat aking mahal, pinakamamahal.”

Based on Edmon Rostand’s Cyrano de Bergerac, Mula Sa Buwan is set in 1940s Manila where a fresh bunch of ROTC cadets and sarswela enthusiasts show what it means to brandish love, honor, and courage as a weapon in a time of war. The heart of the story lies in the tale of three people: Cyrano, a soldier and poet, Christian, a new cadet from the province, and Roxane, a rich young maiden from the city.
Mula Sa Buwan will return to the stage in December 2022.
