Fact: All parents will do anything to make their children’s dream come true. Be it education, a reward, or a simple birthday celebration, parents, will definitely try their best to make it happen.
As a parent, I’ve seen how my children’s faces glow when we give them special birthday celebrations. Let alone, if we celebrate it at their favorite food places such as Mickey D’z!
That’s why I can relate to the mom in the viral video uploaded by Sharmain Tacluyan. She asked if she can get a special discount since it is her daughter’s birthday.
According to the Store Manager of McDonald’s in Brgy. Balibago, Sta. Rosa, Laguna branch, the mom asked if she can get a special discount as it was daughter’s birthday. Unfortunately, the store doesn’t have that kind of policy, so the manager couldn’t give one.
So, the store decided to come up with something even better: the team gave a surprise birthday party to the little girl.

Kaninang umaga habang nakaduty kami.. May isang babae na nagtanong kung pwede silang mabigyan ng discount since birthday ng anak nya.. Ee kaso wala namang ganon.. Kaya heto nalang ginawa namin. Mabilisang salpak ng HAPPY BIRTHDAY SONG na maririnig sa buong store. Mabilisang pump ng balloons.. Mabilisang pagdesign ng pancakes pati candles para iblow nung bata..
Napakaunexpected lang ng naging reaction ni nanay samin. Heto yung isa sa mga pinakamasarap na feeling ng pagiging isang manager.. Simpleng paraan pero alam mong nakapagpasaya ka.
