Pickleball, a good cause, and a community ready to rally. That was the winning combination behind ICAn Dink!, a fundraising event organized by alumnae of Immaculate Conception Academy (ICA) in Greenhills.

Held on September 26, 2026, at Pickleball Junction in Kapitolyo, Pasig, the event brought together players, businesses, friends, and volunteers for 12 hours of pickleball in support of a worthwhile cause.
Part of ICA Zenyrz Batch 2002’s homecoming fundraising efforts, ICAn Dink! raised funds for the ICA Greenhills Scholarship Foundation, which helps provide educational opportunities to deserving students, including beneficiaries from public schools in San Juan, and the ICAre, a health assistance program for retired teachers.
A Fresh Spin on Fundraising
Building on ICA’s tradition of homecoming fundraising initiatives, Batch 2002 tapped into pickleball’s growing popularity to create an event that combined friendly competition with a charitable purpose.

Under the tagline “Play It Forward,” ICAn Dink! featured four open-play sessions throughout the day, welcoming everyone from recreational players to seasoned enthusiasts. The event also gave batchmates and friends an opportunity to reconnect, with volunteers working behind the scenes to keep things running smoothly.
Adding to the excitement was an e-raffle featuring over ₱300,000 worth of prizes, including a Discovery Menu dining experience for two at Celera and the grand prize, a JOOLA Agassi Pro V paddle.
The Businesses Behind the Event
Co-presenters Juego, PKL Lab, and JOOLA played a key role in supporting ICAn Dink!, alongside a diverse group of corporate sponsors and community partners.

Among the Gold sponsors were Davies, Uratex, Gold Heritage Corned Beef, Pandoki, Auto Gard, and Pinklemon Wear, while Silver sponsors included Jollibee, Alveo, and Ansons.
Their contributions ranged from financial support to products that filled players’ swag bags and other event essentials. Additional partners provided vouchers, discounts, and special offers, while ATK supplied the pickleball balls used throughout the day.
The involvement of businesses across different industries reflected the breadth of support behind an initiative that began within a single alumni batch.
Giving Back Across Generations
For ICA Zenyrz Batch 2002, supporting students and retired teachers was a particularly fitting way to mark their homecoming. The two causes reflect a connection across generations, from the educators who helped shape their school years to the students whose educational journeys are still unfolding.
“Homecoming is an opportunity not only to celebrate where we came from, but also to remember the people who helped us get here and the difference we can make for those who come after us,” said Lady Sherika Tanmantiong, Batch Representative of ICA Zenyrz Batch 2002. “What made ICAn Dink! special was seeing so many people, from our batchmates and friends to players and business partners, come together with a shared belief that even a simple game can become something much bigger when it serves a greater purpose.”
Nearly 25 years after leaving ICA, the alumnae found another way to put the friendships and connections formed during their school years to good use.
And while the day’s matches were played for fun, the fundraising effort served a more lasting purpose: opening doors for the next generation of students while honoring the educators who helped shape generations before them.
