In 2013, ex-NBA player turned analyst Jalen Rose uttered the words “Walis, walis” about the Los Angeles Lakers and the Boston Celtics possibility to be “swept” out of the playoffs.
This time, Rose used the term “Walis” again but now he is armed with props, bringing “walis tambo” and “walis tingting” to the set.

Last week, NBA announced that they set up an office in the Philippines. The purpose of the office is to expand the league’s growth as well as open more business opportunities in the country.
Guess we’ll be hearing and seeing more “walis” on NBA.
