Manila Mayor Isko Moreno recently guested on Gandang Gabi Vice, where host Vice Ganda asked him about his past with actress Claudine Barretto.
In a segment titled “Idulog mo kay Yorme,” the host asked, “Anong pong gagawin niyo kung sa harapan niyo nagbangayan sina Gretchen, Marjorie at Claudine? Paano niyo po sila pagbabatiin?”
[“What will you do if Gretchen, Marjorie, and Claudine fought in front of you? How will you pacify the situation?”]
Before the mayor could answer, Vice asked two follow up questions: “Ayusin niyo daw po yung sagot niyo kasi muntik niyo na raw po maging ano ito, in-laws, si Gretchen at si Marjorie” and “At naging mag-jowa ba talaga kayo ni Claudine noon?”
[“Be careful with your answer, because it was said that Gretchen and Marjorie were almost your in-laws”] and [“Were you and Claudine an item?”]

Isko responded with, “With due respect to Ms. Claudine Barretto, hindi naman,” Moreno answered. “We were partners in movies and we belonged to one film outfit, which is Seiko Films.”
[“With due respect to Ms. Claudine Barretto, we weren’t”]
Isko and Claudine worked together in the 1994 film Muntik na Kitang Minahal.
Isko then said that he felt insecure asking her out on a date because “medyo maayos naman kasi ang buhay nila.”
[“Their family was in an okay situation.”]
Today, Isko is married to Diana Lynn Ditan, while Claudine is raising her children Sabina, Santino, Quia, and Noah.
