With all the viral wedding proposals we see online, it seems like the only way to show your love is to make a grand gesture. But there are people who still propose quietly, but with a little creative flair. Take for example Shane Birkinbine, a gamer who used Super Mario to make his proposal.
Birkinbine posted a video online on how he proposed to his girlfriend Pam. In the video, she is seen playing a game of Super Mario on Wii, when she sees the words “Pam, will you marry me?” in blocks.
In the Wii U game Super Mario Maker, users can create levels inside the Super Mario Bros. world.

In a separate Facebook post, Birkinbine said, “She said yes!!! I’m so blessed to have met Pam who has the kindest heart for people. She’s been so patient and shown me what love truly is. Sometimes we meet that person later in life.”
He then posted a photo of the engagement ring, which was cushioned by a Super Mushroom.
