WATCH: BLACKPINK makes their US television debut on The Late Show

If it wasn’t obvious by their announcement of a North American tour and headlining Coachella, then this performance seals the deal — BLACKPINK really is on their way to ‘taking over’ the West.

This K-Pop girl group just made their American debut a few days ago on Stephen Colbert’s The Late Show. It was also their introduction to late night television. You can see below a few of the photos they took backstage before the show:

As the show was airing, the hashtag ‘#BLACKPINKonLSSC’ trended worldwide in anticipation for the performance. The Late Show’s official Twitter account even joined in the fun:

They performed “Ddu-du Ddu-du” from their album, BLACKPINK In Your Area. This song was their first on the Hot 100 singles chart at No. 55. You can watch the number below:
