She ain’t Queen Bey for nothing.
Beyoncé’s latest album, Lemonade, dropped earlier this year, but unless you’ve bought it for downloading, chances are you haven’t really seen the entire “visual album” as it was first aired as an HBO special then exclusively released on TIDAL—Jay Z’s music streaming service.
The album premiered to stunning reviews. And did you see her VMA performance? WOW. You can watch it here.
The past months Beyoncé has been finally releasing her tracks on YouTube now for all the masses to see and her latest, “All Night”, is a visual and artistic masterpiece. The music video begins with spoken word poetry, and slowly transitions into the song. It is quite a long video at more than 6 minutes long, but I can promise you that it is worth it.
Check out the harrowing words:
Grandmother, the alchemist
You spun gold out of this hard life
Conjured beauty from the things left behind
Found healing where it did not live
Discovered the antidote in your own kitchen
Broke the curse with your own two hands
