Tres Shoes: Stylish, Simple and Sophisticated
Tres Shoes is a local footwear brand owned by sisters-in-law Mela and Kash Villanueva. Celebrating Filipino ingenuity and craftmanship, they aim to be the go-to everyday footwear of their clients.
Along with their #SlipOnLocal advocacy, they give high importance to the design, comfort, and quality of their products.

As soon as I landed on Tres Shoes’ Instagram account, I was hooked. I clicked one photo after another, attracted by each style’s unassuming sophistication. They somehow reminded me of Birkenstock, only that these ones had more variety in terms of their strappy designs. Plus, the price range was from Php 750-P1,500 only.
I eventually chose the Charlie (white) and Skyler (rose gold) styles for myself. At first, I was wary that I got the sizing wrong; I am usually a size 8, but upon checking their size chart, I noticed that my size was 10 for Skyler. Good thing Tres clearly explained to me that their sizes are smaller than usual. I appreciated that they were very accommodating with my queries.
In two days’ time, I received my orders. I loved the fact that they looked exactly how they did in the photos! To add, I knew they were made for me when I slipped them on. Charlie and Skyler caressed my feet, making me feel like Cinderella putting on her glass slippers, only these were actually more comfortable because the soles bended with my feet.
Finally, when I went to my closet and looked for outfits to match these with, I didn’t have to look hard. A sleeveless top + a pair of shorts + my Tres Shoes = TADA! Stylish, simple and sophisticated.
