On Facebook, Rovelyn shared photos of the two mothers enjoying a meal together at a restaurant.
“Bashers attack,” she captioned her post.
Meanwhile, Angelica reshared the photos and wrote: “FINALLY.”
As of writing, the post garnered over 9,000 likes.
Rovelyn Baterbonia is the mother of the late Ateneo basketball player Rene Baterbonia, who died in a drowning accident in June 2026. Following her son’s death, she started a business focused on her late son’s merchandise and memorabilia, which received mixed reactions from social media users.
Similarly, Angelica faced mixed reactions from netizens after her rift with her son, acclaimed gymnast Carlos Yulo, became public following his back-to-back gold-medal wins at the 2024 Olympics.
