On January 6, VIVA TV released the second trailer for the much-awaited film. In the two-minute trailer, Rabin has fully transformed into a mysterious and feral young boy, which differs from the stubborn and troublesome character he portrays in the popular youth-oriented show “Ang Mutya ng Section E.” Meanwhile, Angela Muji’s acting performance shines through as she plays the role of a sweet and introverted girl who befriends the “beast.”
“Deserve mo ng EXTRAORDINARY love this 2026!” the description read.
Directed by Crisanto B. Aquino, “A Werewolf Boy” is the local adaptation of the popular 2012 South Korean film of the same name. The original film, which was a commercial success, starred Song Joongki and Park Bo-Young.
This is not the first time that both actors starred together. In 2025, they starred in the teen romantic comedy series “Seducing Drake Palma,” which was based on the Wattpad novel by Ariesa Jane Domingo a.k.a as beeyotch.
“A Werewolf Boy” will hit local cinemas on January 14. The film will also be screened internationally.
