Universal Studios Hollywood is hosting 2 very special marathons this coming November. They describe it as a “heart pounding race through the theme park and parts of the Universal Backlot” which really only means one thing: get ready to have dinosaurs on your tail as you (figuratively) run for your life.
The races specially themed to the Jurassic World movies are open to all ages and capacities. They come in 3 different lengths: a 5k and 10k run on November 16 and 17 respectively, then a 1k Raptor Run for children. Participants will be able to take selfies throughout the park, it’s attractions, and of course, with the dinosaurs themselves!
Costumes are even suggested for runners to wear, as long as convenient enough for the exercise. After all, runners will also be going through some of the Universal Studios sets like “The Good Place” and “Back to the Future”. You wouldn’t want to waste such a photo opportunity!
Whether you’re fans of the original Jurassic movies or the recent version with Chris Pratt, living out the thrill of a dinosaur chase sounds just the right motivation to shed a couple of pounds.
